Jordy Sank
Writer/Director
Jordy Is an aspiring director/writer at AFDA and is currently the Cape Town chairman of Bnei Akiva, a Jewish youth movement. His films have received great acclaim from his peers and lecturers such as Dawn of the Living, Hope in Virtue, We are not Alone and Bunny and Claudia.
He also directed Beneath Mr. Baker, which was rated the 3rd best film overall in his 2nd year at AFDA. His latest film, The Locket, is a tribute to his Jewish heritage and a call for the remembrance of the Holocaust, 70 years after the liberation of the camps. Jordy hopes to become an influential contributor to the South African film industry through writing and directing stories that bring important matters in society to the forefront.
Chelsey Sparks
Cinematographer
Chelsey Sparks is a cinematography student at AFDA and has worked on thrillers, dramas, romance and fantacies. She believes that working on a historical drama has taught her an immense amount about the importance of research and accuracy. Each day of set presented new challenges and obstacles that the whole crew managed to succesfully navigate through.
She is also interested in writing and playing music and has a talent for carpentry and art.

Esther Badenhorst
Editor
Esther Badenhorst is an ambitious Editor at AFDA. She has a journalism degree from The University of the Free State. Her work has received great praise at AFDA with two of her films; Appreciate Your Loved Ones and Roger earning third place spots and Dawn of the living being awarded a second place spot.
She has worked on a wide range of different genres and her experimental film, Memento Mori and her graduation film, The Locket are a true testament of her vast editing ability. She is interested in breaking into documentary filmmaking, the commercials industry and fashion films.

Lihle Qomoyi
Sound Designer
On top of being a sound designer, Lihle also has experience with editing and has extensive experience in both animation and live-action post-production. She is maticulous and has a mind for innovative thinking and problem-solving; this paired with her ambition has allowed her various opportunities to work on productions outside of her course - mainly coporate documentaries and music videos.
Her primary interest is in editing but she is interested in pursuing a career in film media and marketing.

Grendon Pnematicatos
Production Designer
Grendon is a graduate production design student nearing the completion of his undergraduate degree. He has entered the local film industry as an art department assistant and scenic artist. Grendon's work ethic and passion for production design has led him to several international commercial campaigns, local feature films and, more recently, theatre stage design. Before joining the undergraduate programme at AFDA, he his passion for the ocean, sailing international regattas ending in four different continents.

Christiaan Ho-Tong
Producer
Christiaan has worked on several AFDA productions that include There's No Snakes in Winter, XY, Surveil, Waves, Hands Folding Heads, Recoil, and Proxy For Desire. He has worked on smaller independent productions, as well as produced various online action sports films. • Christiaan is a passionate filmmaker who collaborates with filmmakers who have a passion and drive for film, as well as their craft. He is a dedicated and motivated producer who seeks to create innovative and high quality productions. His aim is to inspire others through his work.

Costume, Make-up and Styling
Talya is a second year CMS student and she always chooses the most challenging films that she can find in order to improve her craftsmanship and works incredibly well under pressure.
She has an interest in special effects make-up, fantasy and anything else that is considered to be out of the ordinary.
